TCC features a congregation of people from all over the world, young and old, with a sturdy programme for Men, Women, Children and Youth and Students.

We are part of The Apostolic Church, one of the mainline Pentecostal denominations in the UK and worldwide.

The Apostolic Church is an outgrowth of the 1904-5 Revival in Wales.

The local city church in Glasgow finds its beginnings in 1919. Ps A. Turnbull, along with several other groups in Scotland united with the growing fellowship of Apostolic Churches throughout Wales, England and Ireland.

Since the inception of the Church, its mission and message has expanded into every continent and its Tenets of Faith as originally formulated have become the basis of unity for a world-wide Apostolic Fellowship of which THE CHRISTIAN CENTRE is part.

LOCALLY

Today, the Church at Cathedral Street is a lively and growing congregation with a great vision for God's work...

So what sort of people are we?

The short answer is - all sorts! We are young, old, single and married, from every social and educational background. One of the particular features of TCC is that it has an international congregation. Some 30 nations are represented in most congregations.

What unites us is the fact that we have all given our lives to Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.

When we gather together we just cannot stop thanking and praising God and we love to hear God's Word preached through the Scriptures. We are a worshipping, caring, soul-winning, disciple-making and ministry-equipping Church with a big vision...

MEMBERSHIP

Church Membership is a natural step for a committed Christian who seeks to belong to the family of God, and wishes to be fully involved in the life and work of the Church.

All members come under the Caring Ministry of our Church.

New members are welcomed on profession of Faith in Jesus Christ, endorsement of the Tenets and Completion of the Commitment Class.

The Commitment Class is a six week course which covers all aspects of Church life, belief and practice.

The Pastors will be pleased to discuss Church Membership with you.
