It is almost one year since the cafe opened to the public in the church building. The cafe is a non-profit-making enterprise as part of the church charity. It is managed by Scott Gunn and its viability to support itself appears to be sustainable. However, it is more than just a business.

We would like to build on this firm foundation and see the cafe fulfilling its evangelistic potential. This has always been the primary vision for the care and the church leadership encourage you to consider your part in making this happen.

Cafe Connect is one of several bridges over which TCC can reach out to the people of our city - students, workers and visitors - with the Love of God. It is also to be seen as a bridge over which people can come and explore Christianity for themselves. The main object is that when a person walks into Cafe Connect, they encounter or connect with something of the Presence of Jesus. So the next step for TCC is to ensure the Christian influence is effective in a way that is powerful yet discreet.
